On a tragic day in 1970, the Houston toad (Bufo houstonensis) was listed as an  “endangered species” by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, and unfortunately, almost all of the major threats towards this species are environmental issues influenced by humans. These special amphibians play a big role in the environment and hold many values that many people aren't aware of. Become educated today!
